mailed 1919
Card was addressed to Andrew S Bullis from Harold
As received, there is a price of $35 penciled on the back of the card
As an aside, I found out that it was originally least for $2000 in gold until 1934. Then it was set to match the value of the gold in dollars. 1974 yearly lease $4085 / since 2002 it has been a military prison / the only way the least can end is if the US Navy decided to abandon the area or both countries agree mutually to end the lease
Tiny, tiny start to a tear to the right of center on the bottom edge
- Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
- Again, because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
