Kansas - Ellis, KS
- mailed 1910 - with a very light KS & Denver RPO cancel.
- On the right, I can't quite make out the name on the building (may be A & EHDM - above Groceries and Shoes. To the right of that you can make out Tuesday July and then further down the street the same type sign with the 26th on it - so there must have been an event happening. The next place has J G Perigo - HARDWARE. (My research showed that there was a person named Judson G Perigo 1864 to 1923 that was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Ellis, Ks. His father was Edward S Perigo 1838-1919 / his mother Candace I Perigo 1839-1921 / his wife was Lannie Marilda Frost 1867-1943, if that helps). Down the road there is a sign on the top of the building that has RR YMCA. And lastly, I can make out MERCHANDISE on a building - but not much else.
- The car coming up the road has an emblem of some sorts on the grill, which YOU MAY be able to tell the company from - but I can't. There are people in front of the buildings as well.
