- Back: Lincoln is the second largest city in the state, 55 miles southwest of Omaha. It is the seat of the State University, Normal School and many other colleges and institutions. Population about 50,000.
- Note to Miss Grace Sexton: Mrs Rob? Bromly (or Bromley?) died a few days ago. _utland report says she hung herself on the bedpost. Her brother told Wade Tues at Town meeting that she committed suicide and they told me over the phone from W Dorset that that was the way she done it. Geo and I are invited to Dorset? Friday night to a grange supper at the hall, but cant go. We are going to _____ tonight. Jen. Bradley and Frank Brewster are married. Chas Hosley and Mrs Hen Long (or Yong?) are also married
