- Lyman C Smith College. The main building of the Lyman Cornelius Smith College of Applied Science, is constructed of Ohio sandstone and Onondaga limestone. The ample and perfectly lighted basement provides for the various laboratories and there are several large lecture and smaller recitation rooms, drafting rooms, departmental libraies and shops for metal and wood work. A mechanical laboratory, 215 feet in length has been added to the college by Mr Lyman C Smith, the founder.
