• back:  is the pride of the White Star Line.  She was constructed especially for use as a river excursion boat and carries 4,000 passengers on her broad decks.  The Tashmoos regular run is from Detroit to Pt Huron, passing through the Detroit river, Lake St Clair, the St Clair Flats and St Clair river.  At Tashmoo Park, where the steamer touches, a large picnic ground and dancing pavilion are maintained.
