This is not a postcard, but it is almost the same size.  Definitely a real photo of the herd of R H Nesbit - grazing on Rose-Hurst Farm in Hamden, CT - the wording is embossed onto the card stock

There is a stamped name/address for Franklin Farrel, 3rd on the back - so it would be from the 1910s in that all of his cards were dated then.
