• note:  This statue of Cellini is in the middle of Ponte Vecchini? (old bridge of the Middle Ages)  It was erected by craftsmen in the 16th century who have shops on the bridge.  It reads TO BENVENUTO CELLINI, MASTER CRAFTSMEN OF FLORENCE.  In the background are buildings on right bank of the )))) wrecked in World War II.  This picture made for you today by an old photographer who has spent all his life on this old bridge.
