Japan post card with Japanese symbols on the card. I believe this to be a Real Photo Postcard - but am not 100% sure of this - but either way, a great glimpse of life of long ago.
The Japanese postmark has the symbols in it as well as what appears to be a slogan cancellation on the pink 6 SN stamp
Old card is titled: The Motomachi, The most prosperous place with a rows of shops. Kobe
Shows a very busy street scene with lots of people. Some wearing Japanese clothing, some appearing to be soldiers, some business men in suits etc. There are a bunch of store signs but most are in the native language however a couple that I could read on the right are: S Nomura / possibly THE YAMATO / WATCHMA__ - S MASU___ . There are decorative lights on the street posts
- Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
- Again, because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
