Foreign - Lagens, Lages, Lajes

• mailed 1954 with an ARMY AIR FORCE POSTAL SERVICE postal cancel, so may be interesting to a military postmark collector as well.
• Real Photo postcard
• shows about a dozen military planes with a large circle with a K inside it - on their tails.  If you know what that depicted, please let me know and I will update the listing with the information.   It also appears that there are houses on both sides of the air strip. 
• the title on the card has:  Lages Ilha Terceira Acores / Lagens Terceira Island Azores.  This is in Portugal.
