Iowa postcard
mailed from Iowa City in 1911 with a flag killer with a 1 in it
This listing is a panorama, bi fold (2 postcards attached in the center to form one long card) of Iowa City from across the river, including the buildings, bridge and what I believe to be the house structure (pump house?) that controlled the overflow of the water.
on the left of the hand colored card is: No 33255 C I Wisnoke or G I Winoke or C L Wisnoke or any other letters - these old eyes just won't focus enough for me to be certain / as well as Printed in Germany
The coloring is more like the individual images rather than the image of the whole
- Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
- Because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
