Maine postcard
This item has 4 separate postcards that are still joined - similar to the larger souvenir folders of the 1940s or 1950s. Am guessing that this is from earlier than that. There is a tab of sorts which has: Souvenir of Portland, ME / WM J Dennis / tobacco, cigars, pipes and periodicals (two stores) / 141 Commercial St. - 419 Commercial St. / without writing an unsealed one cent - sealed two cents / made by the Douglas Publishing Co Buffalo New York
Each postcard is titled with...... Fort Allen Park, Eastern Promenade / Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Bishops Residence and Kavanagh School / Grand Trunk Depot and Elevators / Foreign Shipping, Portland Harbor
On the Fort Allen Park card there is a little damage that shows up as a large V from the tab but otherwise OK.
- Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
- Because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
