cute Whitney Made postcard titled:  New Year Greeting - When this new year bell greets you with peals of good cheer - May you make resolutions to greet me this year

shows a young girl with a gold bell on her head next to a tiny cherub type bared child with wings - standing on an ink well and next to an inked quill.  The little girl seems to be reading FARMERS ALMANAC, while there is a dictionary and Letters book at her feet.  There is also a large white, candle burning as if she is reading by it.  There is also a horseshoe in silver
