- Wording on the card: Grand Rapids, from which I send greeting, the second city of Michigan. It contains 100,000 people and is noted for its business activity, its public parks, lakes and river, its private homes, public buildings, banks, schools, churches, depots and theatres. Its 400 factories employ 14,000 hands. The Michigan Soldiers Home, the State Bass Hatchery and the Masonic Home are located here. Ramona, Ottawa Beach, Macataw Park, Spring Lake and Highland Park are near by pleasure resorts reached by rail. The leading theatres are the Majestic, Powers and the Grand. An important industry is the manufacture of Fine Furniture. Grand Rapids is clean, healthful and prosperous. It is on five important trunk railroads and the head of navigation on Grand River. The Pantlind and the Morton are the leading Hotels.
- Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
- Because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
