• note:  THE OLD HOUSE STANDS BACK IN THE TREES WHERE I GET THE ROSES.  IT IS THE KIMBALL HOMESTEAD VERY OLD I WOULD IMAGINE.  I WAS ON THE ROCK THAT PROJECTS OVER THE WATER THIS AFTERNOON.  IT SEEMS FUNNY TO SEE A TREE GROWING OUT OF A ROCK.  THIS IS QUITE CLOSE TO THE HOTEL.  I PICKED SOME WILD STRAWBERRYS & GOOSEBERRIES AND THE HUCKLEBERRIES WILL BE RIPE VER SOON AND ANY AMOUNT OF GREEN MINT.  WE HAD MINT SAUCE AND LAMB LAST WEEK BUT THEY DO NOT MAKE THE SAUSE LIKE WE DO IN ENGLAND.
