Raphael Tuck and Sons postcard Series No 2479 Buffalo New York.  The handsome Lafayette hotel, located at the corner of Washington and Clinton Street, has been noted for the excellence of its entire service since first opened, July 1, 1904.  It's spacious imposing lobby, 72 x 84', is finished in Numidian marble and mahogany, the furniture of soft red leather harmonizing with the prevailing color of the room.
