Oregon mechanical type postcard - unique in that it is visually a book and opens like one to reveal several images:  Harbor, Columbia River and fish wheel, Castle rock, Mount Hood (11,934 Ft) from Council Crest, Willamette Falls, Mount Hood, Cascade Locks and Pillars of Hercules.  These images are on paper not card stock, but the top and bottom are of card stock.  Front of the "book" has a title of RECOLLECTION OF A TRAVELLER - PORTLAND, ORE.  Back:  MAIL CARD - Pub by the Rose Co / printed where the address would go is:  1 EAST 9TH ST., PORTLAND, OREGON. 

Check out the binding staples - they are quite wide.  There is staining mainly to the back, so sold AS IS

  • Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
