Kaiserin Auguste Victoria

• mailed 1907 __ German Sea P.O. with a Series 1902 carmine Washington 2 cent stampas well as another postmark but I can only make out B CFA for sure
• Hamburg – Amerika LINIE / Hamburg - America Line
• An Bord des Dampfers / (On board the Steamer)
• There is an artist signature in the lower left that may start Hans ______
• note states:  Just a we bit larger and finer than the Alomos?? - all well.
• shows a close up with the name of the ship clearly on it
• has a blue and yellow flag in the upper left area that has:  H A P A G?? on it
• My research shows that it was built in 1905 – 1906 by Vulcan in Stettin. May 10, 1906 premiere voyage across the North Atlantic.  June 1914 was its last voyage under the German flag.  1921 was renamed Empress of Scotland. Ended service in 1930 and sold for scrap. During demolition it caught fire - broke in two & sunk
