VT, PLYMOUTH - Post Office, Cilley Store - people posing, cars - RPPC - BP0001
Vermont Real Photo postcard
- not posted but the stamp box dates 1918 to 1930
- shows a bunch of old model T type cars out in front and on the side with a large grouping of people posing mainly on the porch for the photograph. The sign above the roof has General Merchandise Florence V Cilley and below that one there is a sign for POST OFFICE. Everyone seems to be all dressed up for the photo shoot, and who knows maybe Calvin Coolidge is in the crowd. There is a large lightning rod above the signs
- card has lost some of its finish as is shown in the photo - even so, it is a nice and possibly a one of a kind shot of the towns people/store
- Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card. If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
- Because of the age of the cards - they are noted as being USED - no matter if they are written on or not.
