- titled: Searching in the ruins / Texas City, Tex April 16, 1947
- This disaster was the deadliest industrial accident in history. The mid morning fire started on board the S S Grandchamp & detonated her cargo of 2,300 tons of ammonia nitrate which started a chain reaction of fires and explosions in other ships and nearby oil storage facilities killing at least 581 people including all but 1 of the Texas Fire Dept. 5,000 injured / 500 homes destroyed and hundreds damaged
