  • mailed 1954 with an ARMY AIR FORCE POSTAL SERVICE postal cancel, so may be interesting to a military postmark collector as well.
  • Real Photo postcard
  • shows the front of a large plane with MATS on the nose, which I believe stands for Military Air Transportation Service.  It appears that there are military men out in front along with some old pick up trucks and a jeep.  
  • the title on the card has:  Lages Ilha Terceira Acores / Lagens Terceira Island Azores.  This is in Portugal.
