Naham Chapin
- titled: Wreck of the Naham Chapin on the Beach at Quogue, LJ (which should have been LI)
- shows the results of the disaster with 8 men in uniforms in front of the ruined ship - there is also a building in the background
- From what I could gather - it was a 145' 3 masted schooner built in Rockland, ME in 1882 and on Jan 2, 1897 it was going from Baltimore to Boston with a cargo of coal on it and it ran aground in a fierce winter storm. There were no survivors out of the 9 crewmen
