Back:  In the foreground is the Craven House, Gen Walthalls headquarters, around which on Nov 24th, 1863, one of the most romantic battles of the civil war took place.  The house was wrecked but has been rebuilt on the same foundations, and close by, New york and Iowa have erected handsome monuments.  Above are the rocky palisades.  A $100,000 monument has been erected on the very top by New York State.

·       Please note that the majority of the cards are over 50 years old and as such, are sold AS IS. Tears will be noted but it would be too timely to note each fault on every card.  If condition is important to you - contact us with our number in the title & what it is that you would like to know or what it is that you would like pictured more closely.
